A Northwestern student had her purse stolen in downtown Evanston Sunday morning, Northwestern said Sunday.
A man approached a female Northwestern student and her two friends at around 1:50 a.m. Sunday morning at the corner of Church Street and Oak Avenue and asked for directions. He then took the student’s purse and fled.
This is the university’s third robbery announcement this quarter. On April 6, the university reported an armed robbery near Bobb Hall. Three people were were found with BB guns and arrested. Two days after the Bobb incident, the university announced the burglary of a student apartment on Ridge Ave.
