A female Northwestern student was attacked as she entered her residence on Wednesday evening, according to university statement.
At 6 p.m., a man grabbed the student from behind and put his hand over her mouth as the student approached the back door of her residence on Hinman Ave., according to the statement. The man ran away into an alley. The student was not injured, nothing was stolen and no weapon was displayed in the attack.
