Meanwhile, Sharktopus made out big in ASG B-movie funding
Funding for B-status groups approved by the ASG Senate totaled less than the amount recommended by the Student Groups Committee. Some groups were made ineligible for their suggested funding because of financial misconduct. Though B-status groups originally requested a total of $28,784, the committee recommended a total $10,054. Drive over to our forever friends at The Daily Northwestern for more.

The protest was based on Happiness Club’s walkout of last week’s pro-sadness lecture
About 20 students walked out on a pro-Israel lecture hosted Thursday by Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America and NU Hillel. The protest came due to the speaker’s “biased approach” and “belittlement” of Northwestern students, according to representatives from Students for Justice in Palestine. We’ve got the whole thing here.

Luckily, none of the potential candidates have cited “student passion” as a draw
While the dean of Medill search committee was set to meet with students Tuesday, the meeting had to be postponed when none showed up. The committee rescheduled for Monday, when more students will (theoretically) be able to attend. The Daily has more right here.

Not to be outdone, A&O is hoping to bring the cast of Kratts’ Creatures in the winter
