Nobel Prize awarded in advance to entire incoming class, University says
Northwestern accepted only 18 percent of applicants for the class of 2015, down from 23.1 percent a year ago. According to Associate Provost Michael Mills, we have “the best class the University could have in the fall,” though reporters scouring the Class of 2015 Facebook group discussion board have yet to be convinced. In response, Protess claims, “Your mom made false and misleading statements”
The University accused Medill professor David Protess on Wednesday of misleading the school and the public about class documents that Cook County prosecutors subpoenaed in 2009. In turn, Protess accused Northwestern of manipulating emails, and called the University’s statement “sinister stuff that they have come up with through selective quotes.” We have much more on the story right here.

An ASB trip lost a place to stay after a Tennessee church decided that Professor Bailey’s infamous sex toy demonstration was too much for their taste. The church’s pastor, Clif Roth, said the church could not risk supporting the school’s newfound reputation. Check out The Daily for the whole thing.
