    IFC names two new associate member chapters

    The Northwestern Interfraternity Council named Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Nu as new associate member chapters Tuesday night, according to a post on the IFC Facebook page.

    The Gamma Beta Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity was established at Northwestern in 1898 but became "dormant" in 2004, according to the fraternity's website. The fraternity is in the process of restarting this Northwestern chapter.

    The Illinois Lambda Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon was disaffiliated from the national fraternity earlier this year.

    Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter to speak at law school convocation

    Los Angeles Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter was announced as the main speaker for the Northwestern University School of Law convocation, according to a University release Monday.

    Walter, who received his J.D. from Northwestern in 1985, is a founder and the CEO of Guggenheim Partners, an international investment firm.

    Zach Braff teaches NU master class

    Scrubs star Zach Braff (Comm, '97) returned to the Evanston campus Sunday to teach a theatre master class. During his time here, Braff also had lunch with Studio 22, a campus student group that gives out grants for student films.
