For those threatening to move to Canada if a certain presidential candidate is elected, a taste of the country’s comedic scene: Canadian comedian Nathan Fielder will perform as A&O’s spring speaker this coming Saturday, April 2, at 7 p.m.

Fielder, the creator and host of hit Comedy Central series Nathan For You, is known for his so-bad-it’s-good content and cringe-worthy comedic genius. Just watch the show’s most well-known episode “Dumb Starbucks” to see what we mean:

In addition to Nathan For You, which was recently renewed for a fourth season, Fielder has also guest starred in popular shows like Drunk History, The Kroll Show, Bob’s Burgers, The League, The Simpsons and Children’s Hospital. He received “Breakout Comedy Star of the Year” at the Just for Laughs Comedy Awards in 2014 and currently has over 211,000 Twitter followers. Fielder is also known for writing and performing online shorts and weekly segments on CBC comedy series This Hour Has 22 Minutes, from which he’s earned a Canadian Comedy Award, Writer’s Guild Award and Gemini nomination.

Most recently, Fielder has launched a not-for-profit outdoor apparel company called Summit Ice Apparel to raise awareness of the Holocaust. All company profits go to the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre, according to its website.

Fielder will perform at Ryan Auditorium, where doors will open at 6 p.m. Five-dollar tickets will be available at the Norris Box Office website starting Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. WildCARDs will be checked at the venue doors.
