MLB.com: Reporting and Advanced Media (details)

Cash money: $8.50/hour for undergrads
For: Rising juniors and seniors
There’s one reporting intern per team: “MLB.com offers 33 reporting internships to aspiring sportswriters. These internships are designed to give ‘associates’ the full range of experiences that comes with covering a professional team. Each associate will work closely with a site reporter to give visitors to a team’s Web site all the information they need to follow the team from Opening Day to season’s end.”
There’s also advanced media interns: “Interns assist production of video and audio features, including sourcing material from the library, digitizing audio & video, helping organize the digital asset library and general production assistance. Must be very organized and quick to learn; baseball knowledge and computer skills a must.”
The St. Petersburg Times: Everything (details)
Nov. 15, 2006 | $450/week | Sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduates
Positions include: reporting, copy editing, design, news art, photography, and “electronic publishing.” They want experience on a college and professional level. Plus, they promise to take you to a Devil Rays baseball game.
