A&O Productions has just announced that indie-pop outfit Grouplove will be the opening act for their fall Blowout concert on Friday, Oct. 11.
Known for their rollicking, feel-good music and vibrant live performances, Grouplove have headlined festivals ranging from Leeds to Lollapalooza.

The concert will be held at Northwestern's Welsh-Ryan Arena and tickets are available beginning Monday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. on the Norris Box Office website. A special guest of headliner Childish Gambino will open the show at 7 p.m., followed by Grouplove. Childish Gambino will then take the stage at 9 p.m.
Free shuttles will be provided to and from Welsh-Ryan with pickup locations at Cahn Auditorium and the corner of Lincoln Street and Sheridan Road by Patten Gym starting at 5:45 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
"Students should expect a really great experience and high energy show," Mowitt said.
