The Global Engagement Summit, held at Northwestern from April 20th to 24th, is a conference that connects students passionate about global change to leaders in the field to produce change on a larger scale.
The summit is a global committee to come together and think about the mission of the organization, said Weinberg senior Sana Rahim, co-director of GES. The conference also strives to break down buzz words like “social justice.”
Leaders from nonprofits will attend the summit “so that young college students can come and be equipped with tangible skills” to pursue their goals, said the other co-director of GES, Weinberg senior Jennifer Hemesath.
