I’m willing to wager a majority of people at NU have played Starcraft at some point in their life. Who doesn’t love unleashing a good ol’ fashioned Zerg rush every once in a while? So, when I saw this Starcraft application for Facebook, I got excited. Starcraft? ON FACEBOOK! What else could anyone need in life?
Turns out the answer is “a lot more work.” This app emulates Starcract only in the sense it looks the same – in gameplay, you don’t really command anything as much as you click through a bunch of menus quickly hoping you can defeat swarms of enemies. It’s more like Space Invaders and, since it isn’t the ’80s anymore, that blows. Don’t clutter your already hideous Facebook page with this. Just wait for Starcraft 2.
