Rumor alert: Some might "C.R.E.A.M." and others might just break down in "Tearz." It looks like Wu-Tang Clan might be the headliner slated for Dillo Day 2013.
You might have heard the whispers. But around 5 p.m. Monday, a Northwestern sophomore posted a link to an image hosted on Mayfest's website. The image: a description of Wu-Tang Clan along with a header of "NIGHT HEADLINER 8:30-10:00."
The image has since been removed from Mayfest's website, however if you tried to access the link around 5:30 p.m., it looked as if Carly Rae Jepsen was coming to Evanston. That image has also been taken down.
"I was super curious why [Mayfest] was taking so long to release things, so I wanted to see if I could figure it out before anyone else," said the anonymous source who found the image link. "Personally, I'm not too stoked, but I know there's a lot of fans here on campus so that will be good."
Whether or not it actually is Wu-Tang Clan – or Mayfest is just trying to mess with us – it's unclear if Northwestern kids will remember the performance either way. In all honesty, I'm still holding out for my girl CRJ. Her performance would be way "More Than A Memory."
