First off, congrats to the University of Kansas for capturing the NCAA Basketball Championship, beating out the choke-tastic Memphis Tigers (who, I picked to win the whole tourney). The Jayhawks not only boast a third basketball championship, but also one of the cooler looking mascots around, the Jayhawk. Though not technically a real bird (it actually refers to Civil War soldiers or something), the mascot the school created sure looks neat. To celebrate Kansas’ ability to ruin my already-in-flames bracket, here are pics of the bird.
