R2D2 Would Like It

Robots may not be people, but they deserve rights too. At least that’s what the South Korean government think, as they have enlisted five people, including futurists (whatever that is) and a science fiction writer, to create a Robot Ethics Charter, a Machine Bill of Rights if you will. South Korea is one of the most technological places in the world according to the article (they also really like Starcraft, but that’s a whole different story), so they are definitely interested in making sure our robotic-friends don’t get abused in the near future. Here’s hoping they don’t ban my favorite robotic sport of all time.
