Kite and Swans, Tangleweed and Sierra Hull are slated to perform at Philfest 2013 on Saturday, May 11. The event, presented by A&O Productions and SEED, is a relaxing day of bluegrass and folk music. It is held in honor of Phil Semmer, a former SEED member who passed away in a car accident while studying abroad in 2000.
SEED will also be hosting activities such as tie-dyeing shirts, bead-making and hula-hooping. Philfest will be on Norris East Lawn, with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. and the show starting at 2:00 p.m. Entry is free.
