Oh happy day, Northwestern got a whole post devoted to them on my favorite sports blog Deadspin today. The topic? That whole little people wrestling thing. Hey, whatever it takes to get us featured on a prominent sports blog. And, they even nail the student population!
“Sometimes, we wonder if every single editorial at Northwestern features the phrase, ‘Students at this university are known for their intelligence — NU has some of the top students in the country.’ Say it enough, kids, and you’ll feel better.”
I wish he hadn’t nailed us like that. Thanks Deadspin, and thank you Delta Upsilon for bringing the troupe in the first place. Oh, but lest we not forget the rest of the campus, for turning this into an overblown story and showing how lame we can be sometimes.
