North by Northwestern

Homecoming 2017 is a week of festivities that welcome alumni back to Northwestern. The week started on Sunday, Oct. 1 with the Color Roar and continued throughout the week with events like Deering Food Trucks and PurplePalooza. In anticipation of the Saturday football game against Penn State, the week reached its climax despite the inclement weather at an indoor Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 6. In addition to President Schapiro and Coach Fitzgerald making appearances, the rally was complete with performances from the Northwestern marching band and its accompanying flag team.
