I’m shocked and appalled delighted: Political candidates now have profiles on Facebook, and you can easily add candidates and issues you support to your own profile. Nice.
You can see who’s running, get a quick bio, and message them.
Candidates will now be forced to answer tough questions, such as why they listen to and enjoy Green Day.
It’s pretty quiet right now though; hopefully it’ll get busy soon.
I expect journalists to troll Facebook for people’s reactions to and questions for candidates. It’s too good a source to pass up. And politicians would be foolish to ignore millions of rather bored college students.
Now if we could only vote on Facebook…
