Tired of setting up your dorm room? Need a break from your roomie? Sick of your Internet connection not working (guess you won’t get this advice)? Well, take a break from moving in to appreciate some fine art. Done on Etch-a-Sketches. Jeff Gagliardi replicates creates and replicates works of art by turning two tiny knobs on one of the most famous children’s toys of all times. He even made pretty good duplicates of Starry Night and Mona Lisa with the thing. Color me super impressed, as my defining masterpiece on the Etch-a-Sketch was “Square Made of No Straight Lines.”
But don’t just look at his version of American Gothic. Get some of your new buds to go with you to the Art Institute and see it yourself!
