He's written and edited eight books, lived in four European countries and will now be leading Northwestern's biggest undergraduate school.
Adrian Randolph, who currently serves at Dartmouth College, is moving to Northwestern as Dean of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences on July 1.
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to come to Weinberg at a time when there is so much excitement and opportunity," Randolph said in a press release.
Randolph has been honored for his efforts in building cross-campus and interdisciplinary initiatives, and plans to continue building such programs at Northwestern.
Until July, Weinberg interim dean Mark Ratner will continue to serve the position.
