British make fun of Facebook, fail
By

Remember when England was funny? Like, with Benny Hill running around to wacky music, or this chestnut. Heck, anyone who is anyone knows the British version of The Office is a billion times better than its American counterpart Dwight is Really Weird. But, unfortunately, witty online commentary doesn’t seem to be the Brits’ thing. Check out this video about Facebook.

“Tip top of the morning mate! I uploaded this dinger of a video to YouTube, about how looney Facebook would be in real life. But instead of pinching out any joke biscuits, I basically just list the various features of the Web site, and hope you break your laughing gizzard when I say, ‘It’s complicated.’ The part at the end about Scrabble is kinda bangers-and-mash, but the rest isn’t funny, it’s thick as Amy Winehouse marrying a sack of bricks. Oh, crumpet-o-clock, better hop on the lift and la di la di la di la!

(Sorry to anyone who is actually British, as my history of your fine country is mostly coloured by Blur songs and Paddington Bear. Pip pip cheerio!)
