Chicago’s PoorLittleRichGirls.com, a lifestyle and shopping website co-founded by Northwestern Alum Noelle Provencial (‘05 Medill), held a fashion show Friday night at Lumen.
It was PLRG’s second annual Battle of the Boutiques. Six boutiques from around Chicago (Wolfbait & B-Girls, 2 Sisters Boutique, Hubba-Hubba, Dress Up Boutique, Re.Stock Shop and last year’s winner LeDress) showcased five different looks.
Three guest judges — Steven Rosengard from Project Runway, Jessica Sedgwick from The Chicago Sun-Times and Karen Jordan from ABC 7 Weekend News — were on hand to give their opinions about the fashion being shown. The event was emceed by radio personality Showbiz Shelly from B96.
At the end of the show, the judges as well as the event guests picked their favorites, both of which ended up being 2 Sisters Boutique, located at 1167 W Madison St.
