So, the holiday season is on the horizon, and everyone’s favorite singer-songwriter-geographer Sufjan Stevens has released an animated video for his song “Put the Lights on the Tree” from his upcoming Christmas box set. The clip features very Peanuts-esque animation and enough Sufjan references to give any hipster a warm feeling inside. Plus, it got me kinda excited for Christmas, or at least the part where I get to decorate my plastic tree back home. But why are Sufjan’s eyes orange? Is he high?
