Dear Netplay readers, today is your lucky day! Instead of just one inane YouTube video, you get two! I know, thank me later. First off, we have this experiment from Japan. The hypothesis: it’s easier to navigate the streets of Japan when you pretend you are a bicycle. So, this guy rings a bell everytime he’s behind people. I have no idea what is actually going on in this clip, but I still laughed.
Our next video is much more American and angsty! Kermit the Frog is an acclaimed movie star, but he’s also a prominent recording star, with his hit “Rainbow Connection.” Well, somebody thought it would be a great idea for Kermit to pull a Johnny Cash and cover Nine Inch Nail’s tortured “Hurt,” and make a video for said song. Actually, this video is pretty impressive, because I really felt for the little green guy. Warning, there are shots of a puppet vomiting and….what the hell is he doing to the dog puppet!?!?!
If those get you down too much, just find the baby polar bear video. It’s really cute.
