The Turkish Student Association celebrated Cumhuriyet Bayrami, Turkish Republic Day yesterday. They painted the Rock red and white like the Turkish flag and wrote a quote from Mustafa Kemal, Ataturk – “Peace at home, peace in the world!” On October 29, 1923, the Republic of Turkey was declared and recognized as the successor state of the Ottoman Empire.
