    Evanston Now reports that 15 new cameras may be installed throughout Evanston in areas deemed to be high in crime. Evanston aldermen are scheduled to vote on the issue Friday night. See your corner on this map? That’s right, you live in a high crime zone. Criminal.

    Former Northwestern football players Mike Kafka, Corey Wootton and Sherrick McManis have signed up with NFL teams. Go ‘Cats!

    Looking for an excuse to go downtown? ESPN Chicago reports that Wrigley will be hosting a Northwestern vs. Illinois football game Nov. 20. That’s right – Wrigley – the baseball stadium.

    A bunch of speakers came to campus last week. Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen talked about justice and Jean-Michel Cousteau spoke about preserving sea life. Apparently neither speech was very funny.

    The Evanston Zoning Board of appeals, after many delays, ruled to allow the Great Room to continue to operate. Your favorite place to grab a bite to eat in a Harry Potter-esque atmosphere is safe.
