    William Shatner has always been a man with an artistic vision. His portrayal of Captain James T. Kirk on the original Star Trek was masterful, and set the benchmark for science fiction acting for generations. But Shatner has also had an illustrious musical career, releasing two studio albums, two live albums, an oratorio and a compilation with Leonard Nimoy.

    Most recently, Shatner “sang” Cee Lo Green’s hit Fuck You on TBS’s Lopez Tonight, while promoting his new twitter-turned-CBS Series $#*! My Dad Says .

    Another notable (and lampooned) Shatner performance is his cover of Elton John’s Rocket Man, for the 1978 Science Fiction Film Awards:
