The next comedian coming to Northwestern might not be as young and hip as Demetri Martin. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Jason Alexander, the actor of Seinfeld fame, will be speaking on March 12 at 8 p.m. at Tech Auditorium, according to a Hillel press release. The tickets, available at the Norris Box Office for $5, will go on sale March 4 at 10:30 a.m. There will be a limit of two tickets available per WildCARD.

Alexander, who played George Costanza is the famous television series, is also known for his role as a misogynistic lawyer in the movie Pretty Woman, and for his numerous performances on Broadway.

“Hillel works really hard each year to bring in the best and most well-known speaker possible,” Hillel President Scott Topal said. “It’s a really great opportunity for students to have a chance to interact with a celebrity of his nature.”

Topal, a SESP junior, added that he expected Alexander to discuss “his experiences in the entertainment industry, life advice he might have for college students, and hopefully a couple of good laughs in between.”

“We really hope that students are going to be really excited about this event,” Topal said. “We work really hard to bring in celebrities that are appealing to the student body, and we really think we’ve done it with Jason Alexander.”
