The Rock was painted Saturday night to advertise the Northwestern Community Development Corps' (NCDC) Art Fest, an event that showcased student artwork on the east lawn of Norris University Center.
In a bizarre defacing of NCDC's message, an anonymous person (people?) spray-painted over the paint job: "Todd H. Poole 2012.4.29." The message may have been referring to 2010 McCormick graduate Todd H. Poole, who now works as an electrical and mechanical engineer.
