The Homecoming Committee painted the Rock Sunday night in preparation for a week of promotional events that will in this weekend's parade, pep rally, and home football game against Penn State. The Rock's inscription, "Purple Reign" is this year's Homecoming theme. Details on those special events, which include a "Find Your NU Love" speed dating game Monday night and a newly-instituted pre-parade barbecue on Friday, can be found on Northwestern's Homecoming website.
