The newest pledge class of the fraternity Phi Kappa Psi painted the Rock on Tuesday night.
The name painted mysteriously on the wall at the bottom of the rock belongs to Jimmy Podolny, a Phi Psi pledge, who stated via Facebook message: “I’d like to think I left my mark at Northwestern. It was sort of like the scene in ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ when Brooks carves his name into the hotel room wall to let future generations know he was there. I was just letting people know I was there.”
