Hunger
By

    I saw you standing there
With your lips stained berry blue
And the remnants of an icee
    On your once white shirt.

Like your shirt I have been covered
    In berry blue marks
    And grape purple; avocado green
I have worn the visible spectrum
    In edible hues
    In order to sate another's
    Endless hunger.

Like your shirt the blue fades
And you washed the colours from my skin with a kiss
    But an icee doesn't fill,
And as now those blue stained lips draw near once more
I cannot be sure that you too will not grow hungry
