Human time experiment

    Warm gazes gone by,
    (Dissolved in eyelash flutter)
Brush of soft lip in a
    Kiss, tied up in arms)
    Depart.
    All depart.

    Untangling threads of heat steam
    Breath, (heaving chest,
    A sweet suffocation of
    Flesh on flesh and…)
    Release.
    Float down separate streams.

    Pulse slows.
    Short circuited wires
    Dangle limply,
    Ticking burning out shells of
    Organs wallowing in their
    Meaty blood wombs.
    Tender wounds remain
    And lingering lacerations
    Exhaust bleed capacity.
    Through winding veins the
    ache awakes in
    Throbbing waves to saturate
    Each breath of tangible memory.
    Ripped bits and
    Pieces formulate images,
    Rasp of voice, soft hairs,
    curve of your cheek and
    Face-

    Automatic termination.

    Power-saving devices
    Entice themselves to activate.
    Generate preserving
    Protective mechanisms.
    Moist tissue freeze.
    Plasticize, factory-sized.
    Cold breath seeps deep, cools
The frantic motion of gears and wheels
    And grinding circuitry.

    Reboot?
    Computing cyber-hibernation.

Chilled metal burns a struggling lung.
All attempts at warm breath snuffed
Out, a simmering candle deprived of
    Oxygen. Dim light glows
    From within, shapeless and
Raw, grasping with fiery hands to
    Melt and mold new
    Hardware, boil down to
    Flesh but fades till course
    Machinery hides in
the guise of the waiting man.
