The Northwestern University Homecoming Twitter recently announced the grand marshal for this year's festivities to be sports reporter J.A. Adande (BSJ '92).
Adande, who writes NBA coverage for ESPN.com and is an NBA analyst on Sportscenter, will lead the Homecoming Parade on Friday, Oct. 26, before the 'Cats play the Iowa Hawkeyes at Ryan Field on Oct. 27. He is also well-known for his work as a panelist on ESPN's Around the Horn.
Adande had already planned on attending this year's Homecoming for his 20-year reunion, according to Inside Northwestern.
