Harmoniously festive, the Rock

    PMA paints the Rock
Brothers of the music fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia painted the Rock Thursday to advertise Harmony Fest, their yearly benefit concert and philanthropy. The event will raise money for the Music and Fine Arts Departments at Evanston Township High School.
"One of our main objectives is to advance the study of music everywhere... School music programs are being cut left and right, and it's sad," said McCormick sophomore Frank Kaufhold, who helped guard the Rock Tuesday night. "We want people everywhere to have the opportunity to study music and fine arts, especially ETHS, who's right in our backyard."
Harmony Fest will feature performances from student groups including ShireiNU, The Undertones, Tonik Tap and Phi Mu Alpha's chapter choir. The event will take place in the McCormick Auditorium on Sunday from 2-4 p.m., and free Andy's frozen custard will be given out upon admission.
