GuiltE! Pleasures: Why Hef finds Kendra Attractive
By

So, since there was nothing Super New! this weekend on E!, I thought I’d instead focus on something that’s been plaguing me since I first became addicted to The Girls Next Door: Why on earth does Hef find Kendra attractive?

I’m not asking on empirical grounds, of course; she’s done everything a girl needs to do to bunnify herself. She has the platinum blonde hair (though it’s seems almost dirty blonde compared to Holly’s nearly-white locks), she has fake boobs, and she’s okay with being locked-door reading material for loveless teenage boys and frustrated middle-aged men. The thing about Kendra I think Hef should be opposed to is her personality, or at times, lack thereof.

Now, this isn’t say that Holly and Bridget are the types of girls I’d invite over for tea and witty conversation, but there’s something there at least. Holly is ambitious as Hell–aside from her goal of wedding Hef, she’s moving up the Playboy ladder as a photo editor and succeeding. Bridget, though chubbier and a little more wrinkled than you’d expect for a Hugh Hefner girlfriend has something like two Masters degrees.

Kendra, on the other hand, is…well, to be honest, I guess a little more what one would expect from a Hugh Hefner girlfriend. Seeing What he has in the other two, however, it seems as though he must be capable of attaining something more of the “total package” than he found in Kendra. Kendra doesn’t really seem to fit, like Hef asked her out because E! told him they needed the “sporty one” for the show or something.

I have a love-hate relationship with Keeping Up with the Kardashians too) and yet, I’m somehow fascinated by her stupidity. Maybe that’s why Hef’s with her too; he probably thought he’d seen it all when it came to dumb blondes and Kendra just took the game to a whole new level.
