Glee: "Silly Love Songs"

To be honest, I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day. But I personally thought this week’s Glee is a plus to the overly-pink and red holiday. Even without Sue, it was funny and made fun of how ridiculous and drama-tastic high school is — with a good soundtrack. Puck has the hots for Lauren, who has him completely whipped, and Santana and Lauren get into a major fight with lockers included. Kurt finds himself in a love triangle that peaks in a serenade at the Gap, which is awesome but surprisingly creepy too. And then he, Mercedes and Rachel have a slumber party — ironically there’s no singing. Finn likes Quinn, so he makes a kissing booth (solo) to raise money for the glee club, but really to get Quinn to kiss him again. With the help of Santana (who figures out that they’re fooling around) they both get mono — so Quinn puts an end to it. And finally, hoorah for the singles on Valentine’s Day: everyone eats at Kurt’s “Lonely Hearts Club” dinner at Breadsticks.

    High notes:

-“So it’s just like When Harry Met Sally. But I get to play Meg Ryan.” — Kurt to Blaine

-“I’ve had mono so many times I’ve turned into stereo.” -Santana

-Artie singing “P.Y.T.” with Chang dancing while pushing Artie’s wheelchair

-“If we got married, the Gap would give me a 50 percent discount.” — Blaine to Kurt about his crush

    -Rachel singing “Firework”

    Low Notes:

-Rachel’s fist pumping and over-acted lip syncing to “Firework”

    -Quinn’s new hipster look?

    -Rachel still loves Finn
