“I painted the rock with a couple of friends of mine from Chapin tonight and put the crowns on top. At the beginning of the year, Declan Taintor, a Chapin resident, set forth a distinct challenge: the Triple Crown. Only by making out with all three members of the Trifecta, a group of three non-resident Chapinos, could the Triple Crown be achieved, the reward made up entirely of high-fives and eternal glory. As it stands, I am two down and one to go, and I painted the Rock to ask Kate out on a date so that I could fulfill the Triple Crown. Unfortunately, it’s pretty ugly. Spraypainting legible characters turned out to be a lot harder than I thought.”
