Lisa Kudrow, also known as “Phoebe” from Friends, and Andra Day, a singer songwriter from California, made an appearance in Block 3 to send a supportive message to the dancers. Here are 5 fast facts about the two stars:
- Lisa Kudrow gained worldwide recognition for her role as Phoebe in the sitcom Friends. She won the 1998 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy series for her role.
- She also starred as the protagonist on the HBO series The Comeback. She also served as co-creator, writer and executive producer.
- Kudrow’s first job was as a department store security job!
- Andra Day’s first studio album, Cheers to the Fall, was nominated Best R&B Album at the 58th Grammy Awards in 2016.
- In May 2016 Day made an appearance on 40 million Coca-cola cups. The cups featured lyrics from her single, Rise Up.
