Sean Quadlin
Sean Quadlin could be thought of as something of a role model for younger Northwestern students who aspire to a bearded four years at the school. He began growing his first beard freshman year and has since grown many more. Quadlin actually heard of Beard of the Week through Chris Wade’s roommate, with whom he is good friends. Does this signal the beginning of a bearded network at NU, a sort of “I’ll scratch your beard, you scratch mine” kind of thing?
On beards: “I like it. I think it’s a good lifestyle to lead. I’ve had this particular beard since early December.”
No Scruff Love: “Scruff for me is just on the way to growing out the full beard.”
Beard idol: “Herman Melville…the literary beard. I could dig Herman Melville.”
