Rap-duo the Ying Yang Twins will perform on the Wednesday of Ski Trip at the conference center in Copper Mountain.
“We’re trying to stay in line with the old school theme,” said ski trip spokesperson Emily Arbuckle. “Last year we had Coolio so we’re trying to follow that theme.”
Ski trip could afford a bigger performer because of left over money from promotions last year. The performance will be free for everyone on ski trip.
Arbuckle noted that the Ying Yang Twins are not making new music right now, so they will be playing a lot of covers.
“[They've] been doing a lot of covers recently, so he’ll do those along with some of his bigger hits,” she said.
According to Arbuckle, other local artists and bands will perform throughout the week. Additional events may include a beer pong tournament, a skiing or sledding competition with NU’s club ski and snowboard team, a bar crawl and a themed party.
