Thanksgiving is a time for celebration of tradition. Family gathering around the table, younger siblings breaking the wishbone and the nation falling into a simultaneous food coma. However, some of these traditions are also rooted in Judeo-Christian values, most notably the tradition of saying grace before Thanksgiving dinner. Since we here at North by Northwestern understand that our readers have diverse religious backgrounds, we have found a solution that will allow everyone, religious or not, to start their meals with a proper grace: Yeezus' Prayer.
Yeezus' Prayer
Our Father in Hollywood,
#followed be your name.
Your Croissants come,
your will be done,
on earth as in Outer Space
Give us today our daily tweets
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive you for being on Keeping Up with the Kardashians
Lead us not into Late Registration,
but deliver us from Kimmel.
For the kingdom,
the power and marble tables are yours.
Now and for ever.
Amen.
