The No. 1 ranked Northwestern women’s lacrosse team came out with an 11-9 victory over No. 3 University of Pennsylvania. They pulled ahead of their rivals despite the foul weather. Senior Hannah Nielsen helped the team to their win, scoring four goals. They have now finished their regular season at 17-0, which extends their winning streak to 23 games.
Next up for the team is the 2009 American Lacrosse Conference Championship.
