It may only be Monday, but Spring Quarter’s probably already hit you head on. Before you get too swamped with readings and meetings, take some time to celebrate all the great entertainment that comes with being back on campus.

An Almanac for Farmers and Lovers in Mexico
If we’re imagining theater boards as types of students, WAVE Productions is probably that one friend who’s actually early to things. WAVE kicks off this quarter’s student theater season with An Almanac for Farmers and Lovers in Mexico, a comedic ballet about a woman trying to save her own wedding. As icing on the cake, come to see a repainted and decorated Shanley. 7:30 p.m., Shanley Pavilion. Also March 31 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.; April 1 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. $5.
Uncharted
It’s not that often that you can see two dance performances in one weekend, so take advantage of that and stop by Graffiti Dancers’ spring show too. For its main performance of the year, the contemporary dance group promises to go “where no dance group has gone before.” 9:30 p.m., McCormick Auditorium. Also March 31 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.; April 1 at 7:30 p.m. $5 for students; pay what you can on March 30.

The Pirates of Penzance
You know that part in “Right Hand Man” from Hamilton where Washington says he’s “the model of a modern major-general”? Come see the show that inspired that line and countless other parodies – a comic opera about a servant born on Leap Day – courtesy of the Undergraduate Company of Opera Singers. 8 p.m., Jones Great Room. Also April 1, 8 p.m. Free.
