Are you bored of hearing the same old rhetoric about Bain Capital, the middle class and small business owners? Do you zone out when politicians tell sweet stories about their mothers, grandmothers or 18 grandchildren? Turn to NBN to spice up your election season with these politically-themed drinks that turn even Tea Partiers into hard partiers. Invite a few friends over, turn on the debate and fill out your absentee ballot while sipping on a cool purple Bipartisantini. Remember, political parties don't have to just be Republican or Democrat.

    Thrill in the Ville

Invite your friends over to share a little Southern Comfort while watching a little southern discomfort as Paul Ryan and Joe Biden debate in Danville, Kentucky.

    • 12 oz frozen lemonade concentrate
    • 6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate
    • 2 liters lemon-lime pop
    • 1 liter Southern Comfort

    The Mittens Romney

On a cold October night, this drink will warm up your hands and your heart like an Obamacare joke warms up a Republican audience.

    • 1 package hot chocolate mix, prepared as directed
    • 2 oz Kahlua
    • 1 oz vanilla vodka

    The Swing State

This shooter will have you swaying to and fro like Ohio on election night.

    • ½ oz melon liqueur
    • ½ oz dark rum
    • ½ oz orange juice

    Bipartisantini

Republicans are red, Democrats are blue, Barack makes his own drinks and so can you!

    • 1 oz grape vodka
    • 1 oz gin
    • 4 oz cranberry juice

And for those who don’t care to partake in alcohol…

    The Jim Lehrer

A family friendly drink that's PBS-approved. Caution: Consumption may lead to muttered speech and increased inhibitions.

    • 8 oz ginger ale
