The triumphant return of the Cute Animal Blog
By

It seems I have some pretty big shoes to fill.

Thank goodness I have cute animals at my disposal.

After nearly two long years, NBN’s Cute Animal Blog has finally returned. I’m going to do my best to update this blog daily, because I know how important cute animals are to everyone’s lives. It’ll make this winter (and impending #SNOMG) seem just a tad more bearable.

(Worth mentioning here that Patrick St. Michel, our old blogger, keeps up a cute animal Twitter that has about 3,200 followers.)

For some of you, cats in tight places may be your calling (stay tuned, cat lovers). For others, it’s puppies that make your heart melt. Well, tonight’s theme is all things cute — after all, we’ve got almost two years to catch up on.

We’ve got otters training for martial arts:

And otters holding onto each other while they sleep.

And a sliding otter. Your argument is invalid.

Meet Maru, he likes tight spaces:

    Maru-wannabe.

This guy, doesn’t have a name, but he’s still fabulous:

    Kitteh vs. Domo.

SHIBA INUS ARE MY LIFE. THEY WILL SOON BE YOURS.

Akitas are also adorable. Sensing a trend with Japanese breeds.

But kittehs and puppies, while conventional, are only the tip of the iceberg. I submit: BLACK-FOOTED PENGUIN CHICK.

    Yes, you can haz strawberry.

    Giraffe kisses!

I hope that was a satisfying-ly cute medley.

    BYE FOR NOW

AND CHECK BACK TOMORROW for the first in the “How can anyone hate a kitten?” series, featuring the best kitteh .gifs.

CHECK BACK. DO IT. OSTRICH WATCHES YOU.
