ReFresH Dance Crew opened its first independent production “The Show” on Saturday at 10 p.m. in Ryan Auditorium. The second show was held Sunday at the same place at 7 p.m.
Medill senior Danielle Zhu, president of ReFresH for 2014-2015 academic year, said over 60 dancers performed in ReFresH’s first solo show since ReFresH Dance Crew was founded ten years ago.
“We’ve been talking for a while and lots of people have asked us why we don’t have our own show,” Zhu said, “I think this year we have a really strong team and we have a lot more people. It seemed like the right time.”

Zhu said she hopes that ReFresh can be bigger and even better in the future. “It changed so much in the past four years,” said Zhu. “After seeing how many people came to our show and how they loved it, I am really excited to see what it is going to be like next year."
