Pressure Billiards & Cafe, an alternative to Evanston's bar scene
By

When Northwestern students visit Café Ambrosia, they go to get some studying done. But in the far North Side of Chicago, students hit up Pressure Billiards & Cafe for some low-key socializing. Open until 2 a.m. every night, locals gather at Pressure to have some coffee, shoot some pool and hang out. Friday nights are comedy nights, which often last until about 1 a.m. Quiet during the day, but bustling at night, Pressure is more social than our cafes, but more relaxed than a Friday at the Keg.

To get to Pressure, take the Purple line to Howard, then board the number 22 bus to Rosemont. The address is 6318 N. Clark St.
