NU Cinderella stories of the last five years
By

Tonight’s national championship game is the perfect ending to a NCAA tournament that broke 80 percent of brackets within the first 10 games, and all of the rest after the second day. The matchup of a No. 7 UConn and an No. 8 Kentucky is the highest combined seeding of a championship game in NCAA tournament history, and both squads beat first-, second- and fourth-seeded teams on their way to tonight’s game.

Northwestern might be a long way off from the basketball glory days of Coach Arthur Lonborg and our 1931 Helms Foundation national title, but in the spirit of this year’s upset fraught tournament, why not showcase our own men’s basketball teams best upsets from the past five years?
