    Dance Marathon announces 2015 co-chairs

    Dance Marathon revealed their 2015 executive co-chairs. The group's Twitter account announced that Weinberg juniors Ander Aretakis and David Ryan will be replacing previous co-chairs Josh Parish and Anna Radoff as the appointed leaders of the organization.

The intensity, timing and duration of morning light affect a person’s body mass index, lowering it due to the fact that our body’s internal clock is correlated to our contact with light and dark.

    New book selected for One Book One Northwestern

    The university chose Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do by Claude Steele as the 2014-2015 selection for One Book One Northwestern. Steele centers his book on his strategy of whistling Vivaldi’s "Four Seasons" to avoid being stereotyped as a dangerous black male by the public. In his writing, Steele explores the psychology behind negative stereotypes and how individuals can overcome them.
