In Nevada, Republican incumbent Dean Heller faces off against Representative Jacky Rosen of Nevada’s 3rd district. While results are still too close to call, Politico reports that Heller’s seat is the “most vulnerable senate race” due to the backlash Heller received for supporting the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
CNN predicts that Rosen will win by zero to two percentage points, making this race a toss up. All eyes are on Nevada to see if the senate race follows suit of the 2016 presidential election, where Hillary Clinton won Nevada by four points.
At 10 p.m. ET, polls close in Nevada, home to the only GOP senator seeking reelection in a state Clinton won in 2016. Republican Dean Heller is running neck-and-neck with Democrat Jacky Rosen. https://t.co/uyTEJqa0KPpic.twitter.com/o4tybVhdQg
